Two-Hour Beginner Flying Lesson In The Diamond DA20
The two-hour beginner lesson in the Diamond DA20-C1, the airplane with a stick instead of a yoke and a bubble canopy you can see straight out of. It is lighter on the controls than the Cessna and quicker to tell you when your feet are lazy on the rudder.
Our opinion is that it is the better airplane to learn in, and that it is less forgiving for exactly that reason. If you have flown before, or you already know you want the certificate, this is the lesson that tells you early whether you like a stick. The DA20 has two seats, so it is you and your instructor.
