Why Winter Is A Good Season To Fly
Nobody has to fly on Christmas week. But December to February is some of the best flying of the year here: cool, stable air, the clearest visibility after a front passes, and no marine layer to wait out. It is also night-flight season, because it is dark soon after 5 PM, so a night flight over the city lights fits into an ordinary evening. What If The Weather Is Bad On Their Day?
If we cancel for weather, they are not charged and the flight is rescheduled. They can also move a booking themselves with at least 24 hours' notice. The simulator is never canceled for weather.
Is There An Age Limit?
There is no minimum age to fly with an instructor, and anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to sign. For children, call first so we can tell you honestly whether they are big enough to see out and wear a headset comfortably.
